(via THIS IS MY DESIGN ~ a new eyeshadow shade each week inspired by NBC’s Hannibal)
WEDNESDAY JULY 9: Color #30 of 30 will be out this Friday, and so here’s the third column in my Master Grid, beginning with the color that started it all back in March—Ravenstag, the original. Click through the individual links for inspiration pictures, meta, and/or my own swatches:
RAVENSTAG: “A very rich and chromatic black, with vivid duochrome effects that range from chartreuse to green to teal to blue, with brilliant violet sparks. It is exceptionally pigmented, and the duochrome effect is extremely strong if you foil this color/apply it wet.” Several people have told me that it makes a really good eyeliner.
SUBLIME: “A beautiful duochrome with tones of peacock blue, jade green, chartreuse, aqua and gold.”
APIARY: “A gorgeous deepened yellow/gold with cocoa tones leaning towards brown, and a smattering of violet sparks.”
CRAQUELURE: “This shade is a warm green with metallic olive undertone, gold/chartreuse highlight and a lot of aqua/blue bright sparkle. In person, the blue sparks and the gold shift is very apparent.”
LUCID: “An evergreen tone with olive metallic lowlight and sapphire sparkle.”
LAPSE: “A sheer, pale aqua with a strong iridescent aqua duochrome.”
All six colors are vegan; Ravenstag, Apiary, and Lapse are also lip safe.
